What's my profession?

As Project Manager, I work closely with various business units, IT departments, management and customers, where my main responsibility consists of delivering sustainable value to the company and its clients through successful projects.

Besides Project Management, I also provide IT consultancy services. As an independent contractor, I usually work in a key role in projects and manage them by myself. 

I have recently successfully delivered a complex system replacement program and multiple software implementation projects. Before that, I led a multi-vendor system replacement prestudy, based on a detailed business analysis with focus on business process reengineering, demand analysis and requirements gathering. The undertaking has conducted a request for information (RFI), followed by a request for proposal (RFP) and a proof of concept (POC), before resulting in a final vendor and software selection. I also managed a multinational data migration project, which included various internal and external stakeholders and followed the standards of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the Scrum Alliance and was also aligned with banks internal methodology and guidelines.
